Pier

The James River Country Club built a brand new, 300’ pier with an attached Gazebo, large deck, and space for 6-8 transient boats in 2020. Tidal depth varies but averages 3’ at low tide and 6’ at high tide with a clean sand bottom. The pier leads to a groomed, white sand beach with three luxurious pools, a whirlpool, and a Cabana that serves snacks, meals and alcoholic beverages to James River Country Club Members and their guests. Indoor and outdoor dining is available, with poolside and beachside service. The location of our pier is directly adjacent to our putting green and highly acclaimed Golf Course. Reciprocal privileges with peer clubs can be arranged in advance.
