The reception will be exactly what you have always wanted--whether a formal seated dinner or a more casual flowing cocktail reception, James River Country Club can accommodate up to 500 guests. Let our culinary team put together a special menu just for you. Your guests can dance the night away in our beautiful ballroom, while you enjoy every minute of your perfect celebration. Every detail will be taken care of by our caring staff to ensure that you have a wedding that delights your guests and provides you with memories that will last a lifetime.

Our most recent addition, the Bridal Suite, offers the most elegant way to start your wedding day. You and your bridal party can be pampered like princesses, while enjoying a mimosa or coffee bar, and room service by our professional food & beverage staff. This modern suite offers 3 vanity stations, a bridal stand surrounded by floor length mirrors, a flat screen television for entertainment, and a plush sectional couch for relaxing prior to your big day. The walk-in closet allows plenty of space for your wedding dress and your bridesmaids dresses to be stored until the ceremony. The suite is connected to its own private bathroom for the convenience of your party and a private entrance/exit offers you the opportunity to step out of the suite and walk right down the aisle and onto the private beach.
